British V/s American

Dear Students:

Welcome to a new year, full of brand new challenges, in life, as well as in academic grounds.

This blog is intended to support the learning process, aiming at stimulating the input of the brtish variety of the English Language.

Here, you will find links to audio material, videos, and softwares, which will facilitate accent reduction and, at the same time, fluency and the use of any of the british dialects and accents, hereby presented.

A recommended methodology is the thorough and assiduous listening and immitation of the files, focusing on rhythmic, intonational and syntactic features as well as in segmental pronunciation.

And.. furthermore... enjoy!

Here you are a wonderfull recorded data dossier, where you can contrast between american and british pronunciation. Immitate both of them and try to establish which are the differences.
